I have trying to remember how to page or call other handsets.
I searched the manual online but it just tells you to look in hub's manual but did not find there - some hubs have a button to page handsets but not mine.
I know it is possible but can't remember how!

Hi @JMB
We'll do our best to help.
Have you previously been able to do this with the same handset/handset model? Which router do you have?
Chris
I am sure I have been able to do so but forgotten how! One of my handset fell behind my desk and was trying to find it but eventually turned off the others and rang from a mobile phone.
It is a Smart Hub 2
OK, thanks @JMB
I've been looking for a while and can't find a way to ping the devices, unless there is a 'Find' button on the base station or through the handset menus. Is it possible you're remembering this from a previous device?
Chris

Not sure what Hub you are referring to, but it won't be the BT Smart Hub2.

They do not have it it written on them but the card with the passwords etc says that.
What I mean is that if you are referring to a BT router (Hub) it will have no involvement whatsoever in the ability to page handsets. That is purely a function of the handsets.
The BT routers have the DECT 'hub' incorporated in them? They will not function without the DECT base station / hub / whatever you want to call it. It just happens to be part of the the broadband router. BT routers have been like that for years.
A search suggests it’s possible to page handsets connected to the SH2 via its own DECT via the BT SH hub manager , but no further details about how to access it or where in the ‘menu’ it’s contained , plus it’s entirely possible that the function may have been removed with firmware updates etc , as you clearly have found the handset simply by calling yourself and listening , it’s seems somewhat moot .
