digital phone volume

I have set my phone volume to the lowest it can be for when I am speaking with someone but it's still too loud. I cannot have a quiet conversation on speaker. on my last lovely analogue phone it was so easy to use and much quieter if I needed to adjust volume. WHY BT IS IT SO LOUD??? I really wish I had never been duped into getting this. Another great loss for our lovely analogue world. In fact if I can't adjust the volume I will have to send it back and just do without a landline which would be **bleep**. Really wish I had signed up with another company.

@Rose9

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

You can plug your old analogue phone into the socket on the back of the Smart Hub 2, and it will work just as it did before. You do not have to use the BT supplied Digital Voice phone.
