no digital voice activation

today is activation day for our fibre 100 internet and digital voice. we are already online but had a new order placed so we can get a landline. The phone registers but then shows a message saying no internet / its not activated can't make or receive calls. Its suppose to activate up until midnight so thats 30 minutes away. Are we suppose to receive an SMS text or email to say the service is activated? Its not looking good I have to say if you give a live date you should stick to it. On the order process its showing "We're waiting for your Broadband setup to complete before we can setup your Digital Voice service".

We moved in to our new home over two years ago it already had full fibre and the people before us had broadband but not DV.

BT could not get their heads around the fact we had full fibre at that time it took them two weeks to get it re-connected the DV took a total of five weeks, not that we were bothered we never use it, and don't give out the number, though still get scam phone calls.

They also put us in the phone book without authorisation and we only found out when one was delivered to us after two years. They then extended our contract for another two years when I asked them to remove us from the listings.

They think their service is worth paying top money for but are actually no better than anyone else, we have had more trouble with them including TV services and equipment than TalkTalk ever was,  just keep on to them eventually you might find someone that does something right but don't hold your breath.

The broadband provision has to complete before the phone service can be activated, is usually happens on the same day, if for any reason it's not working by today, give the connections team a call on 0800 800 150 for an update.
