BT Complete Wi-fi disc being skipped over most of the time

Hi

I have the smart home hub 2 and a complete wi-fi black disc extender up and working.

The problem is that even though its been setup correctly (half way between router and weaker area of house) the office laptops and computers seem to default and try to connect to the SmartHub first (giving me like 2-5mb speed)

I have to then aeroplane mode on and off a few times until they finally then pick up the disc I guess as the speed is back up to 300mb.

In previous houses and setups (admittedly not with BT) the extenders would give out two wifi connections so it was easy to connect to the right one but with this setup I just connect to the main network and I guess the rest is meant to automatically happen....

But its not. The devices seem to connect to SmartHub by default and only by essentially turning them on and off again do they finally pick up the Disc. This happens with Laptops, computers and mobiles so its not the devices

Any tips? ideas?

Re: BT Complete Wi-fi disc being skipped over most of the time

It is the device that decides which disc to connect to. Some devices are poor at releasing a signal in order to pick up another signal and as far as I am aware there is nothing you can do about it other than what you are already doing.

Interesting that my Latest Iphone, work Google Pixel and various high end devices all makes the same mistake.

Seems odd to me.
