BT Complete Wifi - extend range

Hi, I have one disc connected to my SH2 via Wifi and want to improve the Wifi signal in my garage at the end of the house (only gets 1 bar signal). Can I simply add a second disc by using the ethernet port on each disc and 10m of Cat5E cable to give me a Wifi hotspot in the garage or is there a better way please?

Yes you can. I have a garden office that’s out of Wi-Fi range of the hub and house disc. However, it does have an Ethernet cable running to it, so I’ve added a disc to the office (using the Ethernet port on the back of the disc) and now have full Wi-Fi coverage.
