BT Disc keeps dropping conenction

Hi, my disc seems dropping its connection. All is fine (steady blue light) then periodically it starts flashing, then sometimes goes red, then after a while it comes back. My device (desktop) flicks to another disc which is further away with a less robust signal. This happens several times during the day.  I cannot work out what's up with the disc. I've tried rebooting etc but it hasn't cured it. The dodgy disc is hardwired to my hub, some 10m away.

Could it be...

  • Problem with the disc?
  • Problem with the wiring (run is quite long, but not bent around any silly sharp angles)
  • Problem with me?!

Looking at the event log I during the most recent outage I see....

Re: BT Disc keeps dropping conenction

Hi @WillC9999 I'm sorry about the problems with your complete wifi disc. When the light goes red is it solid or flashing?

Have you tried a factory reset on the problematic disc?

You can do this by pressing a pin into the small factory reset hole, holding down the button for 12 seconds.
Wait 2 minutes for the factory reset to complete.
Reboot the Hub by turning it off for 30 seconds and then switch it back on.

Thanks

Neil
