Nah we have KCOM and they have their own infrastructure. We were only going to leave because the price was going up to £70 a month. We have only had two disconnections in two years with them and that was for maintenance.
I assume you only moved to BT to get KCOM to reduce their price and never intended to move permanently. Bye.
You assumed incorrectly. If BT would have worked we would have stayed with them and cancelled KCOM. However they could not. You sound like a child. Grow up mate.
Most people have mobile phones now. Cancelled with BT anyways. Was in the 14 day cooling off period and their service was god awful. Will be sticking with our proper FTTP connection, at least it won't disconnect in a slight breeze.
My FTTP has been rock solid - and probably been so for most others on here - even when I was using a Smarthub.
Personally, I would expect most people's FTTP to be solid. My own setup here is more complex than most, but not as complex as some. But I have to expect that everything should work, and shouldn't require others to jump through hoops to get it to work. We end up in a very strange place if we accept that flaky is okay.
