My hub has just started cycling through the various coloured lights on it's own. Purple, Orange, Blue (occasionally green). It works for a short while 2-5mins and the starts flashing purple and disconnects.
It seems to be doing this on an endless cycle.
I have tried restarting it but this hasn't fixes the issue.
Probably because you have a line fault.

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community. I'm sorry if you've been experiencing issues with your connection. I'd agree with @licquorice, it sounds like you have a line fault or possibly a faulty hub. Have you reported the issue to BT?

Same issue here since a very coincidental firmware update on the SM2, to version v0.42.00.10167-BT on the 20th March. Blinking purple, orange then blue again. Fault has been reported and the usual back and forth phone calls with support, engineer will come out within 6 days. Resorting to posting here to see if anyone else has the random drop outs varying between minutes and hours. I’ve ordered a new hub at my own cost due to the importance of being able to WFH and lack of 4/5G signals for tethering. Need to rule out a hardware fault. Only worry is that the new one will be on the same firmware…
