Hi,
Recently installed a new router, the Asus RT-AX82U. I have BT infinity 900 and have successfully replaced the SH2 with the Asus router.
The issue I’m having is that the max speed I can achieve over Wi-Fi is around 300mb. I’ve looked through the forum for a solution and have deactivated QoS but nothing seems to have any impact on the speed.
Is there anything else that I can try as I would like to think I can achieve a higher speed than 300mb from a 900mb connection with this router
The information here may help
Thanks for the information, I’m testing on an iPhone 13 with the 2.4Ghz antenna deactivated on the router so I suspect I should be getting well more than the current 250-300 mbps
Check the throughput with an Ethernet connection. If that shows 900 or thereabouts you will be better consulting an Asus forum. If your router is receiving 900 from the BT connection, throughout from then on is dictated by the router and connected devices.
