BT Mini connectors. Suddenly Blue Data light not working either end.

Tried the "Reset" button at both ends. Switched off at "Mains" from both ends. Even taken plugs out of wall socket.

After all said and done - only the "ethernet" light comes on.

Can anyone help me get my "Data" lights back..?

Many thanks for your reply.

Very useful and I have printed them off for reference next time..?

I had tried most of the suggestions.

Eventually managed to speak to some one at BT / EE..... 

They suggested if all else failed to unplug and take both of them to a double wall socket and plug them in.

It worked...!!! Both now have their Blue lights working.

Now - unfortunately the Samsung Tv, at the other end of one of them, is playing-up - continually coming on / going off.  No peace for the wicked.. Ha Ha..

Looks like a new TV.
