BT TV Box Pro Plug

The plug supplied for the BT TV box pro is very bulky, and does not fit behind my wall mounted TV where our plugs are situated.  We used to have Sky and their plug was much smaller and could fit fine. Are there any alternative plugs that can be supplied/bought that will power the box but with a smaller profiled plug??

Re: BT TV Box Pro Plug

It's a 12V 2A PSU with centre positive, so maybe have a rummage through any old adapters you have kicking around. Routers usually use 12V supplies. Hardest part will be matching the size of the DC jack.

Alternately, a short single-gang mains extension would do the job. Screwfix have a 2M one with rewireable mains plug that could be shortened if necessary for £4.
