I have several wifi cameras all connected to my new EE hub with 900Mbps fibre and several BT extender discs but find that viewing the camera feed is much faster and more stable when I only use 4G on my phone or connect through someone else’s wifi. When I do activate wifi on my phone I have several hundred Mbps connection (but slow & sporadic camera connection).

Welcome to this user forum for BT Residential phone and broadband customers.
Are you an EE broadband customer?
Yes… owned BT
As you are an EE customer, you need to post on the EE forum https://community.ee.co.uk/
EE are a separate company within the BT Group.
It’s still owned by BT, as is Openreach who send engineers to try to fix BT and EE equipment.
As a 40yr BT customer, I get really fed up with your internal politics!
BTW this issue was exactly the same before you moved me from my BT Hub to fibre & EE … which has caused me more issues in the last 6 months than I’ve ever had.
This is just a customer to customer help forum, everyone here, including myself, are just customers.
I suggest you complain to EE.
eg. Yesterday my state-of-the-art digital voice phone worked perfectly… except we couldn’t hear or speak to anyone !
I am complaining to EE, through their parent company.
This forum cannot help with your query.
Why can’t you help rather than panning me off to a different group? Same equipment, same service, same company, same issue.
