Apparently the sales line is 0330 123 1365.
Answer time: BT aims for within 45 minutes.
0330 1234 150 Also has a wait time of 45 minutes.
Anything seems to have a wait time of up to an hour and even that is not guaranteed,

Did you get anywhere with this?
I'm verging on giving up and cancelling.

Hey i ended up buying a long ethernet cable to go from my router to my room to get the full speeds. Im also thinking of getting an ethernet splitter so its like having another router. Hope this helps 👍

On Saturday I only had to wait 20 minutes and received excellent support which included dispatch of a second repeater and advice on using it.
The one I already have is a square black one that is compatible with my Smart Hub 3.

Anyone desperate for a disc but can't face the challenge of BT'S alleged customer service can pick one up for a few quid on ebay or cex

They work perfectly subscription free

I agree that a subscription for an extender would be money down the drain after a few months. A square Smart Hub 3 extender on EBay will set gou back about £60-70 by the look of it. Make sure you buy the right one. The older ones seem to be about £30 and I don't know about compatibility but it is in any case likely they are slower or perhaps less reliable if paired with the wrong hub version.

Maybe people have tried mix and matching BT hubs and BT extenders.

Another approach would be an ordinary tp-link or similar extender; I'm assuming nothing prevents them working outright. Or a long cat 6 cable!

PS I found BT very helpful once I got through. It tells you the likely max wait time which varies enormously. But check with your doctor before submitting to the neuron disrupting music on hold,
