I am using BT Fiber at home by using BT Smart Hub 2 (home version) . I want to use my own mesh router instead of BT Smart Hub 2. Given that BT Business Smart Hub 2 supports bridge mode, does it works to use the Mesh router if I only change the BT Smart Hub 2 (home version) to BT Business Smart Hub 2 and turn on the bridge mode ?
Please kindly advice. Thanks.

If you have full fibre to the home, you don't need a modem, the ONT is the modem. Connect your mesh router directly to the ONT.
You shouldn’t need to buy another router to use in bridge mode
Do you have FTTP? If so you can plug the mesh router straight into the ONT without the need for a BT Smart hub.
Alternatively, depending on the mesh system you can usually keep the existing Smart Hub 2 and set the mesh router to access point only (you’ll need to disable the WiFi on the Smart Hub 2).
I don't have full Fiber and I just have the 61-73Mb via Fiber 2. In case, does it work to replace the Smart Hub 2 to Business version ? Thanks.
Why faff about with a business hub, just get a standalone Huawei HG612 modem from eBay. Cheaper and simpler.
You can probably just use the existing Smart Hub 2 and put the mesh system into access point mode.
This is how I have my Deco M5 system set up
No, it is plug and play. Unlocking is extremely trivial in any case. The only reason to unlock is to access line stats.
Thanks all of your advice.
