Switch over to what?
If Digital Voice then yes. In fact it needs to be up and running for the switch.
If a switch to BT then obviously, no it won't work until the switch.
Yes digital voice. So I guess the answer is its OK to.
Yes, it will be fine. As I say, they need to be able to "see it" on the line to complete the switch. When they inform you the switch has gone through just move your phone to the green socket on the back and reboot it.
Thanks, since changing hubs my smart tv works, netflix etc, but the EE/BT subscribed channels like Now sky history for example do not work and stopped when hubs were swapped, why would this be?
I'm not an expert on the TV side of things but I would not have thought the two related unless it's something like the change of SSID/password with the new hub Wi-Fi etc.
OK thanks for the help. I just plugged the old hub in and the channels work. Switch back and they do not?
Maybe a TV wizard knows, I struggle with sharepoint!
TIA
Have you tried rebooting the TV box? If it's on a wired connection it probably needs a reboot to force it to get a new address from the new hub.
Hi, yes I have and checked for updates, etc. Everything else works so the box must be working, just not all channels?
Strange. Needs a retune perhaps?
Edit: @Midnight_Voice is probably the best authority on the TV boxes.
