Complete Wifi Disc
I have a SmartHub 2 and a couple of black discs. The hub is in the study but the disc in the lounge sometimes drops its connection from "Good" to "Poor".
My question is whether I could install a powerline from the study to the lounge and then connect the disc to the powerline with an ethernet cable to improve the strength of the signal.

Re: Complete Wifi Disc
If you are going to do that, you might just as well use a WiFi hotspot powerline and use the disc somewhere else.

Re: Complete Wifi Disc
I bought BT Mini Connectors which plug into mains sockets to provide ethernet connection to devices.

Liquorice,
Yes, you are right but the only thing is that I would then lose the benefit of the mesh arrangement.

Re: Complete Wifi Disc
By way of an update, I tried to connect the Complete wifi disc to a powerline adapter by ethernet cable and it seemed to be a total failure. The disc disappeared from the wifi network in the BT app and the light on the disc simply stayed solid red. Does this mean that it cannot be done or am I missing something in the process?
I should add that the powerline adapter itself was working perfectly.
