I received a Complete wifi disk (black) as part of my fibre upgrade. It does provide a much stronger signal than the Smart Hub 2 at my upstairs PC location (-30dB vs -70dB). I am using the 5GHz connection with a TP-Link AC1200 wifi dongle on the PC (which will be the ultimate bottleneck on speed). However wifi via the disk has a much lower speed than the hub, download from hub is about 230Mbps vs 130Mbps from the disk.
According to the BT blurb I should see a speed increase when using the disk, not a decrease. There isn't any thing for users to fiddle with so I can't have got anything wrong in setting up the disk 🙂. Is this typical or is there anything I can do to improve matters?
