Connecting my own Router to a standalone Smart Hub 2 (Fibre 2 Contract)

I have just moved into a new flat and I got the BT Fibre 2 contract which gives me a Smart Hub 2 which just plugs onto a phone socket and all my WiFi works through that. However, I have my own router (TP-Link Archer AX5400) which I want to use as the main source of WiFi instead of the Smart Hub. Main reason being is I think its a stronger router compared to the Smart Hub. 

Is tthere any way I can do this? I've been looking at other forums but most of them are setting up a new modem and router, not just a router. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I have Digital Voice so have to use the SH2 as the first connection point. From there i use my Asus DSL-AC68U to do everything else as a full router not an access point.

It's quite simple really.

Essentially what I've done is as follows:-

Set the SH2 to 192.168.2.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.252.0 , disabled wifi, firewall , DHCP and port forwarded everything to my Asus on 192.168.1.1.

On the Asus being that it's a modem/router I configured port 4 as it's WAN port connected to the SH2 with it's wan port as a static ip address of 192.168.2.2 and default gateway of 192.168.2.1/subnet as the SH2.

For IPV6 in the SH2 I set the pinhole to point everything to my Asus .

Whith all the IP addresses how do I change these settings? Also how do I tell the sh2 to point everything to my tp link router?

You port forward all incoming traffic in 2 areas:-

IPv4:-

iPV6

The other thing I forgot to mention is some Firewall settings

Obviously within the SH2 I've set my Asus to use 192.168.2.2 always as in:-
