As @gg30340 says, it looks very much like web protect or parental controls are active despite showing as inactive. 

Not sure why you can't change DNS on your laptop though unless it is a locked down work supplied device.

I agree with @gg30340, in that it sounds very much like Parental Controls are active on a schedule. It might be worth activating PC on your connection, & then setting everything to minimal filtering with no schedule. Even though it's showing as off on your account, it could conceivably be active in the background. Enabling it with minimal settings may override whatever is already in operation. If that works, you can then disable it again & hopefully it will all disappear. Not sure how quickly changes are implemented, be be aware it might not be instant.

As @Kimberlin suggested, you can also set non-BT DNS on individual devices, which will bypass the DNS on the router.

Thanks everyone I have been on to MyBT and turned on parent controls and set times and turned the filter on to minimal see what happens tonight at 10pm, will be back and let everyone know if it works Thanks again
