Hello, I have the Deco X55 mesh set up in my home - ONT>Deco no need for the SH2 as I dont use digital voice, I am unable to toggle or even see the wifi 6 toggle in the Deco app they are capable of it, curious as to what could be causing this?
Thanks.

Not entirely sure why you are posting the question on a BT forum rather than a Deco forum.
My ISP is BT - so I have removed the SH2 and replaced with a Deco in router mode, I am trying to understand why I may not be getting wifi 6, if I need to reintegrate the hub or whether it is a package problem as I am on fibre 500.
It has absolutely nothing to do with BT, it's a Deco question.
You wouldn't ask your electricity supplier about a problem with your television.
Thanks for your help, and for being so welcoming.

I suspect you're confused around WiFi 6. It isn't something you turn on or off, neither is it something visible as a separate entity. If your client devices support WiFi 6 then they should simply use it automatically.
That was my understanding, but wasn't sure if Deco had some weird configuration options hence pointing to Deco forum

There may well be an option to restrict it, same as you can generally set b, g, n & ac on WiFi 5. It's also possible that @moakley24 is actually meaning the 6GHz backhaul of WiFi 6e. But definitely a question for the Deco forum.
