Deleting My browsing history from my Hub

Go to solution

Hello,

does anyone know how to delete all the website addresses I have visited from my hub please?

I tried,

admin sign in > advance settings > technical logs….

but there is as far as I can see no where to click

delete.

all you can do is move from page to page and back

if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it

thanks

There is no browsing history in the hub logs.

To delete the logs anyway, simply factory reset the hub.

The web browser you are using is what records the websites you've visited (unless you use its incognito facility).
In Firefox, for example, the websites are found in "History" which can be accessed from the browser top bar, and there are options to delete individual websites or delete all of them.

Ok, thank you!
Tbh it’s all things I already knew but I saw a post on X and obviously believed it!
Must learn to take most posts with a pinch of salt.
D’oh! 🤦🏻‍♂️
But thank you!

Without wishing to be too paranoid, what the post may have been referring to is that under the Investigatory Powers Act of 2016, (the IPA), ISPs are obliged to keep a record of the addresses you have visited for up to 12 months.  They do not track what you were doing there unless they have a court order, however.

Nothing you can do about that except use a VPN to hide your final destination.    Since the advent of HTTPS to encrypt web traffic, hiding the location you are going to is one of the only remaining reasons to use a VPN.
