Re: Digital voice

@dave_provan

I read that its no longer possible to place calls over Alexa, so maybe that is the issue?

The service stopped on the 15th January  2025.

Re: Digital voice

That shouldn't prevent the handset registering to the base station.

Try a factory reset of the hub but make sure you back up your contacts first as they are stored on the hub.

Re: Digital voice

Alexa itself requires that devices are registered and they normally show up on the Alexa app. If Amazon are now preventing new devices being registered, then it may be that DECT registration is not involved.

Looking on the Alexa app may give a clue.

Re: Digital voice

The handsets are normal DV handsets with Alexa added capability. Surely they must be registered to the Hub first and then Amazon subsequently, there would be thousands of BT customers with non working handsets if not.
