EE Smart Wifi Question

Go to solution

I have just received the EE Smart Wifi as part of a speed upgrade.  I notice that the square white box has an Ethernet Socket.  Is this an INPUT or an OUTPUT of the connection.  If an INPUT then I was thinking I could connect an existing Cat6 from the BT Smart Hub.  If it's an OUTPUT then I assume I can connect a CAT6 to a device (PC) as wired.

It can be used in either configuration.

If cabled to the Smart Smart Hub, then it will prefer a wired connection for the mesh backhaul.

If cabled to a client device like a PC, then it will provide Internet access to that device.
