Ee to smart hub 2

Hi all,  I've no mobile signal in my new build (I blame all the foil backed insulation) I was able to use WiFi calling using my smart hub2 until I changed my package to full fiber 500 from full fiber 100. Any idea why my Xiaomi 12 Pro won't connect now?

Re: Ee to smart hub 2

First step would be to see if it still works on another WiFi network to confirm it is the new connection. Are you using the same SH2 or do you now have an EE Hub?

Re: Ee to smart hub 2

So where does EE come in, have you moved to EE for the broadband?

But as I said, try on another network to rule out the phone.

One thing to check is if you have the option in setting to set a preference for WiFi Calling. Otherwise the phone might try to cling to an unusable mobile signal & refuse to show WiFi Calling.

Re: Ee to smart hub 2

I'm with EE mobile phone package and BT full fibre 500 broadband package. Everything was fine until I changed my broadband package from ff100 to ff500 and dropped the bt landline. Phones or smart hub2 have not been changed. All our phones have WiFi calling enabled. Could bt change something in the settings? I use to use a indoor femtocell based signal booster before EE closed this service.

Re: Ee to smart hub 2

Until you can try another WiFi network, it's all guesswork.

I'm not aware of any settings in the SH2 that could disable it.
