I want to resite my router which would require about 18 metres of cable. Question is, what spec or category cable do I require. Am on FTTP with a smart hub 2. Is the cable for WAN just an ethernet cable with higher spec or what. Grateful for any help.

You don't need anything special, good old Cat5E Ethernet cable is more than sufficient.

Re: Extending cable from hub to router
Many thanks for that. Confirms what I suspected but nice to have an expert's opinion.
