From EE to BT

Hello,

I am relocating next month unexpectedly. I currently have an EE broadband contract for another year. The property I am moving to has BT broadband. Can you help me understand how straightforward this might be, any issues I might face or penalties? In other words, is a direct transfer possible assuming the seller keeps the BT "live" and without excessive charges? I need a lot of patience and understanding due to my disability. Thank you.

Re: From EE to BT

You'll just move your EE broadband & do a working line takeover, it doesn't matter who the current broadband supplier is

Re: From EE to BT

Unless you want to change your broadband to BT you just request a "Home Move" from EE and they do it all for you.

See link.

Re: From EE to BT

It's BT where I'm going. So, I can take my current EE contract with me and EE will do everything?

Re: From EE to BT

It's totally irrelevant what the service currently is at the new property.
