Google Wifi

Hi,

my Google Wi-Fi stopped working a couple of weeks ago, luckily I had a hub I could put in its place.

I've been unable to resolve the issue and I believe I may have a faulty OpenReach modem or Wi-Fi Router. Struggling to work out which as the new BT hubs don't require the modem in order to work.

Has anyone ever heard of the Open Reach modem going faulty? It's a cheaper fix than replacing the Google kit.

Also how would you connect the Google kit nowadays as BT Infinity seems not to come with a modem anymore?

BR

Re: Google Wifi

All equipment goes faulty at some point or other.

If the 'Google kit' doesn't have an inbuilt modem, you still have to source an external modem, either an Openreach one from Ebay or an expensive Draytek.
