Hybrid connect device.

Go to solution

Hello again,

I have another question. Broadband is working fine, but amongst the upgrade package was sent an EE Hybrid Connect device. We live in a bungalow in South West Wales in quite a remote position. If I connect the  Hybrid Connect using ethernet port I have three red bars.If I plug Hybrid Connect paired with hub in the living room  I achieve 1blue bar sometimes three red. I'm not very technically minded, any tips that may improve the signal or is it just I live in a low signal area?as I said Broadband is working fine, just wondering if there is any way of improving signal, should we loose Broadband the conventional way.thanks in advance.

You could try purchasing some additional aerials & locating the device in the loft if there's power there. There are also external grade aerials you can fit, but you'd probably need advice from a local specialist as to whether it's worthwhile.
