The Smart Hub 2 doesn't have QoS. I don't really understand how to get QoS. Can I just buy a router that supports FTTP and has QoS? Or do I have to do more complicated things?
Thanks to anyone who tries to help.
I have the Fibre 500 but noticed a difference when it was only my computer connected testing the internet vs when more active devices were connected.

Any router with a WAN port and supports PPPoE (virtually all) will suffice. You don't need a modem/router, just a plain router.
However, if you have Digital Voice phone service, it will only work with the SH2.

Only you know what your budget and requirements are. Asus and TP Link models are popular.
