wifi disk suddenly turned orange

my wifi disk has been blue for the last year or so but has now started to turn orange to blue to orange periodically. my wifi speeds have also dropped significantly. i cant think of anything that would cause this

i cant move the position of it and the signal isnt good anymore, but the living room disk just 1 floor below has very high speeds, this disk 1 floor above is very slow
