Missed calls

My phone uses WiFi calling due to poor reception in my house.eg no bars and WiFi call symbol.

My sister called yesterday and recieved no answer twice, but my phone shows no missed calls. What would explain this? That any calls not recieved on the Internet either by WiFi calling or on my digital line do not show when service reconnects.

@chancr1  My understanding is that the phone cannot register a missed call if it has no service. For example, you are located within a "dead" zone, or perhaps, your phone is turned off.

With WiFi calling there is nowhere to record the missed call if no service. The mobile service records any missed call if you use it and sends the notification to your phone as soon as you reconnect to it. This is not the case with WiFi calling.
