Hi All
I have a Bt Box Pro and full fibre broadband. On original installation the engineer put my fibre connection near my Tv and the Router sat nicely behind the Tv… sorted ✅ My wife today “suggested” that we would be better having the bigger screen Tv in another room 🤷🏻♂️ who am I to argue …. So, thinking it would be an easy operation, I moved the Tv and my Bt Box Pro into the said room, I connected the Box using an existing internet cable and into one of the ports on the Router… However…. Now the Bt Box Pro doesn’t seem to like this at all and I get “No Signal” on the Tv ?? The box is obviously powered up, the blue light is showing … but my LG Tv doesn’t seem to recognise it .. the Tv is connected to the wireless network and a wired connection (using a 4 port network switch).
Anyone got any clever ideas as to what I’m doing wrong ?

What is this 'existing internet cable' ? Is it an Ethernet cat5E or better cable?
Obvious question; has the HDMI cable become disconnected from either the STB or TV during the move
Not got a BT TV box, but I tend to associate "No Signal" with the lack of an ariel signal, not the "no connection" normally seen when there's no internet!
Hi, it’s a Cat5e cable, going from Port 1 of the Router, via a 4 port network switch, into the Bt Box Pro…. Thanks for taking the time to comment
Completely disconnected and then reconnected securely
