Sounds like it's a general Google Nest issue caused by a faulty update - but are anyone else's Google Nest cams appearing as offline in the live stream view but continue to record and make them available in the recording history? Checking my Unifi controller it all seems fine and all the devices appear as having an "Excellent" WiFi connection. Looking at the forums it appears to be a UK problem... Perhaps some ISP having issues with Nest servers?

No solution off the bat, but I do have a Google Home Mini that plays up something rotten if I attempt to get it to use any DNS other than 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4! I wouldn't mention it other than with you using a Unifi device, it's quite possible that you could be attempting to intercept the DNS requests.
Hey - thanks for the reply - but the issue fixed itself after 2 days... Was a bug in Google Nest's backend.
