No IP number when using BT Whole Home Wi-Fi discs

Go to solution

Everything was working fine, until it wasn't.

The internet died the last night via the Whole Home Discs and been having issues since.

BT Smart Home 2 Hub, ethernet connect to 1st Whole Home Disc.
I can connect to the Smart Home and surf the internet.
I can connect to the 1st Whole Home Disc, but the device doesn't get an IP number and as such no internet.
This sometimes also takes down the Smart Hub internet.

So
1) Anyone come across this?
2) If you have Whole Home wi-fi network setup, do you turn off the Smart Hub Wi-Fi?

So I factory reset everything, set up the BT Whole Home Discs on the old Name and Password, and I turned off the Wi-Fi on the BT Smart Hub.
Everything is again working ok, so fingers crossed it was the Hub's Wi-Fi causing some who-knows-what issues.
