No SSID

Go to solution

Having had no WiFi or home network for 11 days my broadband service and digital voice were finally restored early this evening.  Thankfully I have had use of an EE MiniHub in the meantime and that has kept me sane.  However it seems my problems are not over as on starting everything up again my Hub's SSID has not appeared.  Neighbours' SSIDs are visible but not mine.  Hub startup appears normal with solid blue lights after a couple of minutes and using a wired connection I have normal internet access - but no wireless and so no local network or printer.  I can't see there's anything I can do about it other than report another fault to BT but am I right?

Silly question, but have you checked in the hub manager that WiFi isn't turned off?

This mess has destroyed my brain as well as my home network!  Using the EE MiniHub from my laptop I can't access the hub manager of course but using a cable on the PC upstairs I can so that was the problem.  Thanks!!
