I've been experiencing packet loss and ping spikes for approximatelyt a week now, this issue occurs when I'm the only person using the internet so streaming services don't seem to cause it.
I can have the spikes as frequently as once every 2-3 minutes and it makes online gaming extremely unsatisfactory, prior to last week there was zero issues with the connection. I ran Pingplotter after reading some forum posts in the past and it does confirm substantial packet loss to google servers. When playing I notice that my ping will max out at around 1000ms and that number stays consistent before dropping down, I'm not sure if that's an indicator of anything but it was unusual that it was a common peak value.
Running Wired ethernet to PC, any advice on how to improve this?
