Port forwarding in itself does nothing other than open a door to your network. Unless the app knows your public IP address or you utilise an IP tracking service, it won't know where to connect to.
As said previously, most of these type of apps don't require port forwarding as the systems upload to a central server which the app connects to in order to retrieve the data.
The company who supplied the product advised portforwarding was required.
I did post photos of the settings and the app for further info - I’d welcome any assistance !
@Colesy1977 It looks like no image has come through on your previous post and I can't see anything in the image console. I would recommend trying to post your images again.

I'm still not convinced port forwarding is required, however, are you sure you are forwarding the ports to the correct internal IP address of the Heatapp hub?
Have you given the Heatapp hub a static IP address or are you relying on DHCP?
Hi,
I believe it’s a static IP
What address is it? There is no security implication in posting the 192.168.1.xxx address
What ports are you forwarding?
Portforward internal and external to 6653
IP address?
