I am having trouble connecting a nest hub max to a BT smart hub2. I keep getting a message part way through the adding new device process that I am on a different network and I need to disable AP Mode
What I have done so far:
Factory reset the nest hub
restarted the BT hub
switched off 5ghz channel and tried process again
The nest hub was working on another home network in the same house and was removed to get all devices into one home network. All other devices are working fine
Have tried using another mobile device to add the nest hub
Any help appreciated before I launch the thing out of the window - cheers Nick
I have the same problem here. I have tried the switching of the 5ghz channel but still getting the disable AP mode message saying I am on a different network

Please don't post the same problem on multiple threads,it just causes confusion.

Just a guess based on generic mesh setup but try disabling the SH2 WiFi completely & set the Nest up as an access point rather than a router.
