Range extender
we have just had a smart hub2 plus discs installed and all is good.
we have a garden office which is 2m from the house and it has wired ethernet connection to the smart. I wish hard wire(Ethernet connected to the hub ) a range extender in the garden office to create good wifi . has anyone any suggestions ?

Re-purpose an old router as a Wireless Access Point if you have one or connect one of the discs by ethernet

Depends what your requirements are in terms of wifi speed and band capability. Have a look at the TP Link Wireless Access Point range

i have tried using one of the discs even though it is connected via an Ethernet cable it appears to be only using wifi as the signal is quite poor(and if i take the Ethernet off it still functions at the same level with only an orange light no t enough for light streaming ??

Just give it a static IP address outside of the DHCP range of the hub, turn off DHCP, and connect it LAN port to LAN port via Ethernet to the hub.
