TP LINK RE220 AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender

Having serious problems with BT/EE wifi around the house. Unable to send anything to printer thast about 8 metres away. Also unable to actrivate security cameras due to week signal from Wi-Fi. Any one else used the TP Link AC750 WI-Fi range extenders. Do they work ? Some reviews are sayin g they are that brilliant.
