Replacing Smart Hub 2 with TP-Link AC2100 Modem Router

Go to solution

I'm a Fibre 100 customer and my connection type is G.fast from the master socket. I've connected the TP-Link AC2100  router and believe I've put all the correct settings in via Quick Setup but it can't connect to the internet. I've read somewhere that the G.fast connection might be an issue but I'm not sure.

@dan_rekt

I don't think that router supports the frequency standards used for g.fast (G.9700, G.9701). Hence why it won't connect

G.Fast modem/routers are like hens teeth. It is an extremely niche market hence very few manufacturers have bothered. Zyxel is your friend.

Yes, that's the brand but I'm looking for a particular device that will work with my connection type.
