Had full fibre 900 installed 5 days ago. Checked speed each day and despite being told no problems has failed to reach minimum 700 speed at any time. Anything between 400 to 600. Does BT monitor and take action or should I do something?

They'll tell you to connect using an ethernet cable and test then.
@cinnamoncottage The guaranteed fibre speed is to your router, not to the devices you’re connected to. If you’re attempting to run speed tests to your WiFi devices using WiFi rather than using a Ethernet cable, it’s likely you will not see the 900mbps speed to many WiFi only enabled devices.
