Smart Hub 2 not accepting password

Hey

I moved home over the weekend, unfortunately my hub got damaged, I've sourced a brand new hub, waited until I've had a text from BT to say I'm ready to go, set it up and infuriatingly, it's not accepting the password.

It's exactly the same as printed on the hub, the little slide out thing and the enclosed sticker.  I've had 3 people enter it, thinking it was me and still it's not accepting the password.  I've done a factory reset, the lights show steady blue but no joy.

Any pointers please?

Re: Smart Hub 2 not accepting password

Which password are you talking about? Hub manager password or WiFi password?

Re: Smart Hub 2 not accepting password

Are you sure your device is connecting to the hub and not a different one? Have you deleted your old hub network name from your device before attempting to connect to the new one?

If you go to advanced wireless settings in the hub manager you will see the WiFi password, make sure it is the same as the one printed on the hub label.

Re: Smart Hub 2 not accepting password

Hmm, I've not deleted the old network details from my mobile, but it was definitely showing the new network name, to which i tried the password on the hub...
i'll try your sugestions and try again.
Many thanks for your suggestions 🙏

Alternatively change the the new hub network name and password to the old network name and password to avoid having to enter the new password on all your devices.

Now that sounds easier. I do that in hub manager?

Re: Smart Hub 2 not accepting password

I have just returned to BT after trying full fibre which turned out to be slower. But that is another story.

My grouch is the size of the text on the little sticker that comes with the smart hub. I cannot see it without the aid of a magnifying glass and a torch.

Having finally gotten to grips with that, I found that the password would not be accepted by my pc despite it being correct, having checked it multiple times.

How do I access the hub manager?
