Smart Hub Ethernet Connection

Go to solution

Hi, after a household power outage recently, when all 4 worked before, now its only gig ethernet port 4 on Smart Hub type B that connects anything.

Does anyone have any ideas how other 3 may regain connectivity?

Thanks

Have you tried a factory reset of hub by pressing the recessed button back and holding 20\30 seconds until hub lights flash and see if that fixes it

Hi @ChrisMacL I'd recommend getting in touch with the broadband faults team on this link and they'll sort you a replacement.

@ChrisMacL

One possibility, although remote, is surge damage when your power supply was reconnected.

Hello, after a unrelated broadband line problem that was discovered while telling BT about this, a new Smart Hub has been delivered and all connections working fine on this one.
