Hi All
Im having a problem with the hub, I have the 900mb package and im getting stable and full speeds all the time.
the problem is when im streaming to twitch every 30 minuets the ethernet port on the hub seams to lock up and wont pass any data till i pull the cable and plug back in.
I know its not a router crash as i can still access the hub over the wifi so its just the switch in the hub thats crashing.
as you can imagine its kind of hard to stream properly if my stream keeps dropping every 30 minuets and having to run across the room to pull the cable out and back in. Any help would be much appreciated.
It seems more likely that you have an intermittent cable, have you tried another?
You are probably causing internal buffer overflow, try reducing the streaming rate slightly.
Does this only happen with Twitch?
If it is only on Twitch there are a number of similar posts about it in the Internet. There appears to be numerous causes and solutions. An Internet search about the problem will bring them up and you could try working your way through them until you find the correct solution for you.
Definitely not the cable.
I will try turning the bit rate down but the point is i shouldnt have too as i had this service so i could run the max bit rate for the best quality.
and its not just twitch.
If im overloading the buffer in the router then the router is **bleep** and i would have to replace the dam thing.
Did you read message 4?
I did see it yes.
Its not only twitch that i have the problem with.
i did do some googling my self before i came here but havnt really come up with what it might be. there is a lot of info if your watching a streaming service but not much if your uploading to a streaming service. Hence me coming here.
