@jukkate

You haven't got an iPhone that's using Private Addressing for your wifi connection by any chance?

Re: Smart hub event log query

Android phones also use private addressing these days

The only way to prove it is to go through all your devices and make sure they are using their real MAC address and then see if those messages stop, I suspect that they will.

Re: Smart hub event log query

Hi

Thanks for your reply

Yes i am on the laptop- but that laptop and our other wifi connections are showing with their MAC address. we were out at the time of this log and using another router, so i am a bit confused by it tbh

Re: Smart hub event log query

just to clarify - whilst using a private connection, all our devices MAC addresses do show up later on in the day when we were in. at the time of the events logged we were out in a different part of the country and using a different router

thanks

Re: Smart hub event log query

I suspect that 'Redside'  indicates that it is a device connecting to your BT WiFi signal rather than your home network.
