I just forced (via Factory Reset after waiting patiently for about six weeks) an update from FW v0.31 to v0.43.01.15019-BT and was very pleased to find this option.
It says :-
"When set to 'Yes' all wireless functionality on your Hub will be disabled. Please note: Wireless devices connected to your Hub such as WiFi Discs, Hybrid Connect or TV set top box will be disconnected."
That suggests to me that the WiFi Discs Backhaul will be disabled.
Don't know about the DECT phone signal. On the main menu my Hub says Wireless Disabled, Hybrid Connect Status Not Configured and Phone Not Configured all in White Boxes. Under Home>Wireless it says "All wireless functionality on your Hub has been completely disabled." Under Hybrid Connect Status it says "Not paired". Right or Left Clicking on Phone does nothing.
I do have a small USB fan gently ventilating my hub but even so I think it is now running cooler than before I disabled all the wireless. Hopefully good for longevity.
