Unable to use EE app to manage EE Home Hub

I am a BT customer and was sent the EE Home Hub Pro and Hybrid Connect.
All working and manageable via 192.168.1.254
I cannot however use the EE android app to connect to the broadband router/hub.
The error is "We can't load this information - Not your fault, it's ours. Try again or give it another go later."
I've tried multiple times with no success.

Please instruct how I can use the EE app to manage my broadband router and devices.

This is a BT customer to customer forum so no-one can "instruct" you to do anything.
Since you're now working with an EE hub you might get better advice using the EE customer to customer forum.
Since you can access the hub OK using 192.168.1.254 why do you also need to access it via the EE app?
