If you change the channel width to 80mhz and channel 100. You should be able to get ax on that band. For some reason the 20/40/80 option would only let the devices connect via ac.
Will also stop that 10 mins radar search too.
Only getting ax when 160MHz is enabled may be specific to a particular router. A little testing with the GT-AX6000 shows it doesn't matter what the channel width ax works!
Just to update ,
WIth BtHub, wifi speeds were not good. 150-250Mps down wifi
With New router rt-AX88U Pro.
Iphone 13 - 650Mb wifi
Macbook 670Mbps wifi
Here is a speedtest from macbook with a VPN on doesnt even effect it
seems higher, but I find some tests more generous in speeds it shows,
730/110 on that.
Yeah seems to be right, you’ll be able to see the speeds on the traffic analyser on the router while doing speed tests
Regards the RT-AX88u Pro: You can certainly do this with the "Merlin" firmware, but there may be an option in the QOS settings to test the internet speed at the router.
*using the SPDmerlin version of speedtest on the router can negate some issues that would otherwise interfere with a speedtest.
The router built in speed test isn’t accurate tho, can only hit 600mbps

Can't speak for the AX88U, but I can pull 900mbps+ via the built in speedtest on an Asus ET12.
