Re: WiFi 6 Modem/Router

Go to solution

That's what I thought - thanks for confirming - but I simply can't get the router to generate an Internet connection. Using the app on my phone to set the router up starts the process and connects directly to the WiFi generated by the router, but it then fails. Very frustrating. I assume you just connect the modem to the WAN port on the router? Do you have any other ideas? Thanks for your help so far.

Just connect the ONT to the WAN port on the Asus and configure it as a PPPoE connection with username bthomehub@btbroadband.com and password BT

Thanks again, but how do I configure it at all when it's not recognised?

Sorry for the ignorance. How do you access the router settings to configure it?

Personally I just installed a PPoE WiFi6 access point and disabled the WiFi on the SH2 thankfully a good Black Friday deal came up.

I'd just like to say thanks once again. I've now managed to connect the router to the Internet after your advice. Much appreciated.
